Decree Beneath the Molten Sky
熔天敕令
Acrylic on canvas, approx. 20 x 20 cm
A storm of molten reds, bronze golds, and fiery oranges churns beneath a band of deep violet-blue sky. Hidden within the chaos, the Chinese character 敕令 — a divine or imperial decree — was inscribed by hand directly into the wet paint, embedding authority into the energy of the composition. The painting evokes a celestial command descending through burning heavens, a shamanic or cosmic message sealed into matter.
Best placed where ritual, authority, or transformation is thematically central — a meditation space, altar, or study. This piece resonates with power invoked through fire and word.
