Aluminum Wire Arts
How I started creating?
I got into aluminum wire art after I retired — just as a fun hobby to keep my hands busy. I’ve worked with wood, metal, and tools most of my life through carpentry, construction, and small repairs, so bending wire into shapes came naturally. At first, I made bikes and simple figures, but over time I started trying out cartoon-inspired pieces, decorative objects, and scenes from daily life. Some things I finish in a couple of hours, others take weeks. Either way, I just enjoy making things.

Going to local fairs really helped too. I met other artists and makers, picked up ideas, and it felt good to be part of a creative circle. These days I spend my time twisting wire into whatever feels interesting or fun — sometimes detailed, sometimes lighthearted. I don’t overthink it. If you enjoy what you see, that makes me happy. That’s what it’s all about for me.
